Mike Wien began his career in product and brand management for Pepsico, followed by increasingly responsible assignments as Vice President of Sales for Omni Hotels and Senior Vice President of Marketing for Citibank of Illinois.
Most recently, he was Director of National Marketing for Deloitte & Touche where he led the firm's marketing and sales initiatives for an eight year period. Today, Mike is also an adjunct professor at Georgia State University where he teaches a class on Hospitality Marketing and Sales. He consults with hospitality organizations, including a two-year engagement as Director of National Sales for Microtel and Hawthorne Suites, as well as leading the regional sales team in the conversion of AmeriSuites to Hyatt Place.
Mike brings a highly pragmatic approach to sales strategy and sales consulting, recognizing the critical requirement for sales and marketing to be aligned to an organization's strategic direction. Mike earned his Bachelor of Science from Colorado State University and his MBA in Marketing from The Kellogg School at Northwestern.
