Bruce Hoelzen, part of our sales training and sales consulting team, has over 25 years of experience in sales, sales training and sales consulting. His role at Sales Effectiveness is to transform our sales methodologies into highly effective, individualized learning experiences for each of our customers.  Bruce’s specialty is working with sales teams that have a product focus.  With his broad range of industry knowledge, he is particularly skilled at developing the link between a customer’s products and their customer’s requirements.

Prior to joining Sales Effectiveness, Inc., Bruce worked for a variety of sales consulting firms where he developed and delivered sales training seminars on selling, relationship building and negotiation. He has worked with a broad variety of global organizations and industries, including information technology, automotive manufacturing, aerospace manufacturing, banking, consulting and health care.

Bruce began his career at IBM, where he spent 12 years in various roles as a systems engineer, sales representative, and finally as an instructor at IBM's renowned sales school, where his specialty was sales negotiation.  He was the recipient of a number of sales and recognition awards.

Bruce has been a guest lecturer at Kennesaw State University on the topic of negotiation as it relates to the IT industry.

He holds an MBA from the University of Arizona and a B. S. in Zoology (Pre-Med), from Arizona State University. Bruce resides in Roswell, Georgia with his wife, Susan, and their son, Max.
